Submariner85 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I have a Dean that's wired for push/pulls. My question is how would you wire Seymour Duncans up to match the picture here?: Since the SD's have 4 wires + a bare each. Thanks in advance.

Submariner85 Posted March 2, 2010 Author Posted March 2, 2010 http://www.guitarelectronics.com/category/wiringresources/ I looked there but can't find Dean to SD color coding....
SteveB Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 that Dean diagram makes no sense to me, I'd expect to see a 3rd colored pickup wire at least for a splittable pickup, but maybe Dean has the bare wire performing mulitiple grounding functions or something. In a 3 wire scenario with that switching the red wire is coming from between the coils and when grounded disable one complete coil. White must be hot, and the bare wire is ground. For a duncan, you'd tie red and white together where the red wire is, tie green and bare together where the bare wire is, and black is the hot where the white wire is.In any case, Duncan has a ton of wiring diagrams on their site. Maybe this one would work for you:http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wirin...2h_1v_1t_3w_2pp
