bulletbob Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 LE series MIJ strat .. Sonic Blue...[Robins Egg Blue]In gorgeous condition... Comes with 2 necks. An aftermarket neck with larger frets and flatter board, somewhat thicker as well.. satin finish.. Excellent feeling and playing neck. Also comes with the dead mint, virtually unplayed original neck and Fender/Kluson style tuners.. Its thinner, has vintage size frets, and original gloss finish. This guitar also has Copperhead handwound pickups byJeff Chevalier in Canada. These custom wound Alnico pickups are among the best I have ever used.Check out the reviews online.. These are GREAT pickups. This guitar plays and sounds like a great old strat.. Nice velvety neck and body feel, and a beautiful sounding "quack" in the notch positions, strong SRV tone on the neck pickup, and a great bitey tele like twang on the bridge pickup.. I did some live recording with it a few weeks back, and man, the bridge pickup was incredible.Sounded like a great tele .Anyway, I have 3 strats and really only need 1 these days..Time to start downsizing. It has a cheap chipboard case, but it works fine.I am taking a licking on this guitar at my asking price.. I paid $328 on ebay for the guitar a few years ago,,$125 for the pickups, and $100 for the neck. Tough to sell anything at all these days so I gotta adjust. This is an LE series Fernandes which are reknowned for incredible build quality. This is every bit the guitar a "vintage reissue" Fender USA strat is.. perhaps better than many of them,.It sounds and plays great, looks and feels great, and is pretty light. Its in great condition as well... $275 plus shipping takes it.May consider cool trades. As always, I cannot seem to post pics here, they won't download.. Please email me for pics..Please email bullet_bob@lycos.com bob_________________
cmatthes Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Bob:Do you have a Photobucket (or any other online photo hosting account)? That's the only way the HFC and most other message boards allow pics to be posted. I don't know of anywhere else that you can directly upload from your Picture files. If you do have a Photobucket account, send me a link to one of the pics and I'll try to see what the problem is with that.CM

I had some sort of account, but haven't used it in years... Probably should get it up and running again. I can post pics on some forums, not on others. Its no big deal really... If anyone would like pics all they have to do is email.. If thats to much of an effort for a prospective buyer, they probably don't want the guitar anyway. Thanks for the offer of help.. It is well appreciated!! bob
