Tres Aardvarks Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 very cool.. IS it just the pic or does it look like the nut is cut wrong? the E string looks too far over at the nut?
HSB0531 Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Thanks! The nut is the original one.If you look at the nut, the spacing is right. It's the bottom of the neck where you notice it.Here's why:The Schaller bridge has roller saddles that can be moved from side to side.It allows you to adjust the spacing of the strings and where they sit in relation to the neck. This allows you to use it with a variety of neck & p/u widths. It's just a minor adjustment.
BCR Greg Posted August 17, 2005 Author Posted August 17, 2005 The pic was taken RIGHT after I strung it up. I was so psyched to see it together, IT WASN'T EVEN TUNED YET!I get a little giddy upon completing a job. Coffee......makes me silly.....
