Slammer Series version of Vintage S?

I was kind of surprised to see this.

At first, I thought it was a Slammer by Hamer guitar.

But it is a Hamer Slammer Series (as you will see when I get around to giving you the link).

It has a nice flamed maple top...if it were Slammer by Hamer, I would guess photoflame, but the Slammer Series guitars were pretty premium for imports, weren't they?

But I also think the Vintage S didn't have 24 frets, so maybe this is just an import in a class by itself.

Anyway, this is the first one *I've* seen like this.

I have no connection with this sale. As usual, I'm just posting stuff I see that I find interesting and/or amusing.

I'd buy it if it didn't have a vintage-style trem (I hate those!).

What are the chances this is a Hamer Slammer Series neck put on another brand body?

Regular old veneer (paper thin) top - pretty much what most imports of any brand have.
