Actually, the seller is doing a positive service by showing photos of actual wear, but it also makes me think that either the seller doesn't know what 'mint' means, or he hopes the buyer doesn't. http://cgi.ebay.com/CARVIN-6-STRING-BASS-H...=item519370bf0eI've seen descriptions of 'mint' misused so much on eBay, not just with instruments but other things--equipment, collectibles, clothing, you name it--that I seriously doubt the motive or knowledgeability of any seller anymore that uses that particular word, regardless whether it's used correctly or not. I'm posting this particular listing as an example of exactly what I mean.As MCChris says so often, 'eBay sucks'. I'm off my soapbox now.
