Scottcrud Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Hey guys, we're looking to play in NOLA in October, early November, my old band deadhorse used to play Zeppelins, is that still the place for metal/thrash bands to play? Also we're coming from Houston and would want to play NOLA on Saturday night and Lafayette or Baton Rouge Friday night, any clubs in either of those you'd recommend and have contact info?Check the pasadena napalm division myspace link below to check us out.Thanks in advance.

Mindseyes Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 The only place I know of that still has heavy bands playis called "the brick house" in Houma.As for lake Charles the live orig. music scene is DoA!There isent shit going on around here, it's been a fight justto get 1-2 a month for us.
Mindseyes Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Anyplace to play in Beaumont?Beaumont use to be our best town to play but 1 by 1 the few clubs that were doing modern rock have closed.Its bad time for live rock music around here!!!!Swamp-pop and party band cover bands are the only guys getting the action around here.The 19'th Hole up in conroe/spring on I45 north of Houston has been OK at best....the owner and the guy who books there are pretty cool.......its a place to play.What about your area Scott, we are looking to get over your way later this summer.

Redeyefly, Emo's (hard to get in there) , Encore Club, Red7, Big Dogs or something like that on 6th... In Houston we've played Fitzgeralds, Rudyards, Warehouse Live. About to play Cardis in Pasadena, and The Hot Dog Shop in Houston.What kinda music you guys play? Metal?
