help info needed

i know this is a shot in the dark, but i would love to own a hamer scarab...not the ones they put on the market in the 80's or the newer ones...i want the one that paul stanley of KISS used in the "heavens on fire" video

it has a completely different cut from the scarabs put on the market, i am not 100% sure if it is even a scarab, it may have been specially cut just for stanley, or a prototype of the eventual scarab. all i know is it has always been my dream guitar

so if anyone knows anything about this guitar, please e mail me a pic or some info

I'm trying to remember which one that was - I'll have to look that one up (I forget the finish). I am pretty sure that most of Paul's HAMERs went in the KISS auction back in 2000. The Hard Rock bought up most of them, but there are a couple here in the hands of HFC member(s).

They auctioned off two of Paul's personal cut-up Standards - they had a number of different body cuts, 3x3 headstocks and some other unique features.

That one was a one off, different head and the little sculpt in the bottom. I think HamStd has that one.

I'm assuming you mean the one that was some kind of mirrored/chromed/mylar finish that looked like a prism/rainbow when the lights hit it?

That one was definitely something to drool over!

you guys are right, it did have the chrome, sparkle rainbowy type finish...i could care less about owning one with that paint job, but the cut is awesome

anyone happen to know where i could get the specs on it so i could have one made?...its kinda hard to show a custon shop a video and have them get it right
