PM Notification

I got an email saying I had a private message, yet clicking the link and coming directly to the site show no such message. Could this mean that the sender deleted the message or that the system is not delivering the message? I suppose I could contact the sender but if it was an error I think I would be bothering them.

Sometimes the PM system is a little strange for some reason. Check your inbox to see if something did come in.

I did check and there wasn't anything there. That's what prompted my question. Just a quirk I guess.
