polara Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Just my $0.02...These are freakin' GREAT guitars. I've had two and dunno why I sold them. I'd buy this except I just made a big new purchase (which I will share next week)
Bloozguy Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Just my $0.02... These are freakin' GREAT guitars. I've had two and dunno why I sold them. I'd buy this except I just made a big new purchase (which I will share next week) And my $0.02 as well...this was mine before it went to live with Crabby. It's light, resonant, sings when you want it to and screams when you want it to. Terry takes great care of his stuff and if I hadn't just bought another Bluesbird from Murkat this would be on its way back to me!
crabby Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Thanks guys............ gotta bump it.
crabby Posted February 24, 2011 Author Posted February 24, 2011 UPDATE: 2-24-11 NOW $1050 shipped to lower 48 USA pay with USPS Money Order only..........
crabby Posted February 26, 2011 Author Posted February 26, 2011 Week end bump,,,,,, You know, worse things could happen than this one not selling. I'll just sell something else and keep it,, cuz it's a great guitar.
hamer4ever Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Are you sure they are SD pickups? I have never seen SD's with 3 screw pickup mounts. Might be Schaller?
Bloozguy Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Are you sure they are SD pickups? I have never seen SD's with 3 screw pickup mounts. Might be Schaller?I never pulled the pickups when I had the guitar, but those were described in all of the Guild specs as Duncan SH-1 ('59) pickups. If you are an OEM, Duncan will make them with any mounting configuration that you specify.Maybe Crabby has had them out and can verify.
crabby Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 No I've never pulled the pickups either, never felt the need to,,,,,, and besides they sound great,,,,,,,,,,, When I got it from Bloozguy he told be it was stock as far as he knew and I think it is.................
crabby Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Just did a search on ebay and found FOUR of these and ALL four had the same exact pickup rings with the same amount of holes,,,,, with this I'm sure these rings are original...............and therefore the guitar is original. Also the prices are all higher than I'm asking here.......... so somebody will get a good deal IF you'll buy this one........
crabby Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 Ok, I know one of you guys NEED this one, you just haven't realized it yet so here's a bump so you can see it again.
crabby Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 IF you like this guitar you need to make what you feel is a "reasonable" offer..........
