String pull from singlecoils?

How close to the strings can you set a vintage output (around 6K?)set of strat singlecoils before you get the effect of "string pull"?

What would apply for a hotter bridge, around 9-10K, how close would you set it to avoid string pull?

The reason I ask is I did a set up where I have set them fairly close, perhaps 3-4 mm from the strings. I can't hear any audioable string pull effect from this set up. So is it really that big a deal?

The bridge pup is not the concern, but the sum of all three pups.

the result of is the sum of the magnet strength 3 fold from each pup.

There is a balance to it, you will have to find the sweet spot.

Some type of strings used also add and or negate to the equation as well....

The result is not the out put of the pickup, but the gauze strength of the pickups magnetic character.
