Bolt on Hamers made from parts?

Were the lower priced bolt on Hamers made from parts that came from a supplier (like Sadowsky guitars), or were they made in house (like Suhr, Anderson, etc)?

Either way it still baffles me why Hamers are selling for half of what these other brands sell for. I guess Hamer should have only stayed with a couple models since they began building.

Hmmm, i for one don't carry the same opinion, for me the heady 80's and 90's were a time that Hamer, for me, really broke some barriers in terms of inventiveness and quality and as far as i'm aware everything was in house. They did farm out some stuff in the early days but i'm sure by Arlington Heights all the woodworking was under the factory roof.

My comment was about the other guitar builders that have made the same old, non-innovative models, that seem not to depreciate as much as Hamer models seem to.

For example, shouldn't a handmade U.S. built guitar like the Hamer Californian, or Daytona go up in value instead of down?

Have you seen the price of a used cali lately? A neck thru ebony w/ boomers often goes for $2000+. I can get a new jackson USA sl1 soloist for less than that. I do agree the other bolt on models seem to go for less than they are worth, they are such fantastic guitars.
