Was gonna ask this at the acoustic guitar forum, but it looks like they have policies about pricing, so....
I'll ask the experts here
I have a 199 Taylor 914c ( no electronics ) that I am looking to sell
Not sure how to price....
2011 Vintage Guitar Price Guide shows Taylor 914 (closest I can find is a 914ce, but it says prod ran from 2002-present) $2,800 - $3,300
Mine has wood binding, as well as abalone around the fretboard , whereas newer ones have plastic binding, and the abalone goes around the top of the guitar, but doesn't go around the fingerboard
ebay has mostly with electronics
from what I've read this is a "holy grail" Taylor - Dave Matthews plays this model
