eightyfour Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Anbody wanna go? Meet for a caffeine punch or two then hit the doors early?http://seattle.craigslist.org/msg/97296016.html
pesocaster Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I'm down.... Went to one last year with Jimbilly... nothing like a room full of porn...http://www.seatacguitarshow.com/wst_page2.html
eightyfour Posted September 13, 2005 Author Posted September 13, 2005 Hmmm, I already see a problem with a group full of Hamer freaks showing up at the same guitar show together. Ok, ground rules. You stay away from anything pre-1980, and I'll stay away from everything hot pink w/EMG's. Deal?
pesocaster Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 er... yea... suuuuure..... hahahha actually I'm full guitar wise... now amps and vintage stomp boxes on the other hand..... Although a nice Pink EMG and Kahler loaded pointy guitar would go well with my eyes..... HA!
Jimbilly Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I might be able to get a hall pass, I don't wanna push it though, I've got a Porsche club auto-x the day before. I'd probably better not go...

JohnnyB Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Anyone else going? ... JohnnyB?I'm thinking we should all hook up for brunch or lunch? anyone? anyone? How 'bout you just come up and buy my Mesa DC-10 instead? It'll save you the crowds, the cost of parking, and zero in on what you're really looking for. Actually, I dunno; I'd like to hook up with you guys, but am not sure if I wanna traipse around a guitar show to do it. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Who is this and Where did you put JohnnyB..... NOT wanting to go sniff around some killer old wood and closset gems.... not to mention Anderson Amps will be there ..... Are you feeling ok? Actually if the show is anything like the last couple years you are in and out of there in about an hour or so and parking was free last couple years... ... and you of all people NEED to hear one of the Andersons...
Camstone Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 I might be able meet you guys down there. I'm up in Snohomish, so it's about an hour, but I do have an old Gibson L48 with a gator case and a forties Fender double neck lap steel that I have recently decided to part with. Perhaps this would be a good place to find folks with severe old guitar GAS that would spend more $ than what ebay could offer?I couldn't be there till early afternoon, but let me know if any of you guys decide to attend.
pesocaster Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Cool... I'm going ... I'm open for the morning ... e-mail me and let me know what time to meet and where..pesocaster at hotmail dot com

YOWZA!!!!Cool to hang with JohnnyB as usual... however where the was 84? He who started this thread... hahahaha
eightyfour Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 Sorry guys...I had planned on coming, wanted to bring the kids as well, thought they'd love it. But, life strikes in good and bad ways, and late saturday I got word of the passing of a really great man and old friend from my Bay Area days. When ya'll go out this weekend, throw back a few drinks and think you're good enough to get on the road, just don't, ok? Don't.
pesocaster Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 that sucks.... sorry man.... And I hear ya on the booze and cruise.... NOT worth it....
eightyfour Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 Sucks. I hate situations like this because I'm sad for the loss but also so pissed off about it. How long do we have to beat this drum man? We can send hardware to Mars and watch the whole thing live...but we can't convince skippy the fuckin pinhead to take a cab. I'm losing patience with the human race.'Nuff of that....any chance I can talk you into coming out to Hell's Kitchen on Thursday. Dudley show aside, just be nice to hang out a bit beforehand perhaps.
pesocaster Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Burried too many friends because of this... (self inflicted and otherwise) .... Hang in there.... If you need anything let me know ...
