Standard wiring question

Ok, so I am almost done refurbing this standard I picked up on ebay and I have a question. I did a search and cant seem to find the right answer. Fixing some bad wiring. I am using the Sunburst wiring diagram and it is a copy of a copy from here and the text is pretty shoddy.

So the red and white wire from the bridge pickup goes where? The diagram looks like it says tie? And the drawing only shows 2 wires. My black is going to the pot and the green is ground.

Any help would be very appreciated as always... good times.

if it is a 4 conductor DiMarzio pickup leed,

red+white, tape it. green+bare to ground, black to volume lug.

Its a factory SD. But your advise may apply. The insulation is cut from it but I dont think it gets used- weird. Just want to be positive before I progress. Thanks murkat.

If it's Duncan, you can use this chart to transpose murkat's procedure. This is a really helpful chart for lots of occasions.
