Craig S Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 I can't seem to remember if the neck and bridge Dimarzio pickups were wired out of phase this early. I know they were once Hamer went to Duncans.
bubs_42 Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Yes, they were "Out of Phase". Serial or someone would have to tell you if the 77's and 78's were but every 79 I've had is was wired that way. The 81 I had too.
Craig S Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 Thanks, I have a Rio Genuine Texas sitting in the bridge position right now and I might be putting the Dimarzio back in.. A little rollback on one of the volumes bring it back in phase anyway so it's probably worth doing it stock.
