I just came across an iPad app today called Jammit. I dig it - the songs are a bit pricey, but the tracks are the actual tracks and you can fade out parts, and the tab is accurate and auto scrolls as you play.
I do wish though that there was a complete all in one solution. The closest I can get I think is to run Amplitube on my phone, then run that output into my iPad. Haven't tried it yet and don't know if I'll need special cables, a splitter, or another iRig thingie.
are there any similar or better apps that people use to learn and play along? Didn't Line 6 have a computer-based thing like ten years ago, where you could download songs and play along? Doesn't have to be iOS based; running on a laptop (Mac) is cool too.
