PLEKKED for perfect fretwork and the most amazing playability you will ever experience. Original Hardshell case, original truss rod wrench in Hamer logo packet, and case key. Folks who know Hamer USA know these were some of the best guitars ever made in the US in terms of quality. Thin, fast neck. Front to back measurements are: 1st fret: .80”, 12th fret: .85”. Though Thin, this neck is incredibly strong. I use very heavy strings and the truss rod is no where near maxed out and the neck is almost straight with just the perfect amount of relief. Real Honduras mahogany neck and body, which only a few guitar makers still use. This is not the “whatever wood” fauxhogany that many manufacturers nowadays try to pass off as mahogany, borrowing that term from the furniture industry where basic color and grain matter but tone does not. This is the classic, super stable luthier’s standard used in the classic Gibson guitars, and in acoustic necks. That classic tone is there in spades. Stock Duncan P90 pickups give strong output, with a bridge sound like a cross between a fat PAF with the articulation of a single coil, and a fat neck tone. I personally plekked this guitar on a plek pro and there are no compromises or short cuts in the fret dress, as is unfortunately often done by plek users, especially manufacturers. The result is the lowest action with least buzz you will ever experience on any guitar. You can’t get better fretwork anywhere. I then set up the guitar for a smooth action height taper from the low E string dropping down in height to the high E. Of course, if you prefer higher action, you can raise the bridge up. No matter how you set it, it will be amazingly clean.
