Google is not what is once was and is polluted with 20X's the muck before you find the gold. I have found a few tutorials on changing pickups in a strat style body but thought many someone knew of a really good one that might be buried in common search.
I want to change out my stock DD HB-103 N and B pickups with a Slammer or a Duncan Distortion, which sounds similar but with much more balls and clarity. My guitars Mahogany body wood and multi piece neck sounds good now, but I think would be worth the upgrade, The guitars basic sound personality is good and is worthy of an upgrade. It's a 94 Korean and can meet or exceed any Japenese Charvel Model Series or MIJ Jackson with the same pups that came stock as the Hamer I have. IMO
