just about any sticky shit is going to mess up a nitro finish.

My experience at least.

well, there are ways around it...

You could make a "plate" of plastic, metal material...

have the bridge mounting screws hold/ attach the plate to the area...

mount the Roland synth pup the the attached plate material...

;)

just my crazy mind thinking....

I can mock one up for ya :)

The actual pickup I'm not worried about, that can just be double-sticky taped to the Strat pickguard. Or worst case I could use something like this guy's mounting bracket. It's the control dongle that I'm more worried about. I wonder if the Strat jack cup screws are long enough to insert something between the cup and the body. Even cooler would be a single stamped sheet of metal that forms the jack cup and the dongle mounting plate. I don't suppose that's something you can make, Jay? Or can you cut a sheet of metal with holes in it that could fit around and under the lip of the jack cup? Does that make sense?

I can (just about) anything :)

I follow your wheels of thought.

a metal / plastic platform,

Held at the end strap button,

and behind trem cavity, or pickguard.

It be like a Maestro trem cover type thingy.

I can do that. :)
