Disturber Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Its sorted out. It's a very old JB. Nothing more to see here.
veatch Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 If it's an SD, i think the screw coil is red to green, and the slug coil is white to black. If it is Dimarzio, i think it is green to white screw coil, black to red slug coil. Resolving the color code *might* help you determine the brand of the pup, assuming someone didn't monkey with it. I think i had a low k JB before, but others here smrter than me know these pups way better than i do... Hope that helps. Edit to add: Yup - this will help: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=color_codes
Disturber Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Oh, Im 110% sure it's a Duncan. It has got Duncan bobbins and a Duncan lead wire, (as described in your link too).I just would need some input on what model it can be. And how to measure each bobbin separately. I guess that can be done with the four wires, but wich wires to I measure for each coils separate reading...?
veatch Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 If it is an SD, leads red and green are the screw coil, and black and white are the slug coil.
