Guest billmacd Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Sometimes you never know what you have. I had a pearl white Phantom A5 as a backup to my Strat and LesPaul. Soon the others became the back ups. Very fun, versatile axe. Then synths came out and I traded my A5 for a charcoal/white pickguard/Kahler A7. Also very nice. Would like to find another A7.
cmatthes Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Welcome! The A7s are a bit tough to find, but a few members here have and regularly use 'em. A5s turn up a bit more often.Good luck in your search - those are very cool, unique guitars.
paults Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 They are pretty hard to find - I've only run across about ten of them in th past ten years. I sold two earlier this year, and am down to my two "keeper" A7s. One seems to show up on eBay only every couple of years, so you might do better to do it the old fashioned way - call a lot of dealers, do a lot of web searches.
