rugby1970 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Is it my imagination or is the fret width greater on a T51 than other guitars? Like a Studio for example?
Andrew Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Uh?Do you mean the fret wire, the width of the fingerboard or the spacing? If I understand the question to mean the spacing: T51 has a longer scale length of 25.5 inch (648mm) compared to a Studio at 24.75 inch (629mm), so the frets are spaced slightly further apart on the T51. 648/629 = 1.03 times further apart in fact.Fret wire and fingerboard width are pretty standard.
rugby1970 Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 definitely the answer I was looking for. sorry I was unclear.
Ting Ho Dung Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 definitely the answer I was looking for. sorry I was unclear.I might be wrong but I think most T style guitars are 25.5 inch scale. If you want one in 24.75 Anderson makes some. Probably others as well.
