'84 Been worked a bit.

Sustain Block trem converted to what you see. Veneer over front and back. Thought about selling it but probably at a loss to what I paid. Plays good, looks decent, non original for sure. See the trem cavity outline in the last shot. eventually that area seems like it could fail.

Ya know taking a ferrule out might have been easier and less abusive to that poor ole guitar.

its all good I know the owner... ...besides I not jimi or stevie..you will never see the back while I am playin ...I saw the paper? layer in the hole but it was hard to tell until could actually touch it....thought might been just finish leaked in the hole....I still have project label on this one...but since the cavity is wood filled it changed my plan,soooo. I dont really want to dig the wood back out ,therefor at this time I formulating a new plan to refinish it...so until the committee bestows the findings I am forced to play it and play it loud

the guts of a 1956 les paul jr are dying to make a new home in the vector..p90 ,single volume or full controls...there is 3 filled holes in control bay this had 2 pickups at one time...so a pup hole has been filled too

h0ly frack!ng sh!t....I just strung it and plugged in to 1965 showman with mesa 4-12 cab...it sits weird with a strap...is there a go to way to play this thing...so after the awkward way this hangs on me ...the tone is unforgettable in great way.

so It has 4 strap buttons and few extra holes...how do I get it to hang like regular guitar?

I used the back of the neck and the button under the wing. The other two were there to stand it up rather than on the wood if I were to guess.

That is why there is a veneer on the front I'm sure.

I was doing that but the guiter seems to roll away from me.....I ended up shortening strap and use the upper tip one. it will take some trial and error I think. once I get dialed in it I really think it will get quite a bit of use..I played on it 3 hours last night....I switched to TM60 later on to keep house volume some what down and dam it sounded ever better.
