How do you add a poll?

I clicked on "Manage Poll", filled out the questions and clicked finished. Then it just disappeared. Now what?

Adter manage poll click, I made my poll and I thought it disappeared too but then I hit post and it was there. It did not disappear, it posts after you click post.
