Brooks Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Fender pro jr is s great amp, but for me thats a gigging amp, TM10 would be way better as an at home amp IMOyep. i recently sold my pro jr and replaced it w/ a TM10.the jr is great, but needs pedals (no reverb/low volume gain),while the TM10 is great for just plugging straight in w/o pedals(which for me is what a bedroom amp is all about, as i leave my pedalboard across town where we rehearse).
LittleC Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Uummm.... Sorry, I read too quickly and missed the bedroom part. Scratch my entry. For that matter, EVERY small amp I own is too load for the bedroom (assuming you mean when someone else is around), including my Gibson Skylark GA-5T or Vox 15.
luiss Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 If you know how to solder I'd go t Bruce Collins Mission Amps clones, they are fantastic for that old Fender sound. Not so good for my Studio tough, but great witha a tele or strat style guitar.
