I remember going to Arnold & Morgan Music in Garland TX in the late 70s, they had this poster and one of the employees had scrawled across it BARBARA STRIESAND PLAYS IBANEZ!!!

I wish he'd go back to the Tokyo Tapes era white Strat with the rebar sized trem arm, it sounded better. Check out 9 min in, and 24 min, killer... -

I've told this before, here it comes again; Growing up a huge Sabs fan, I played 2 SGs thru high school & Jr college. 1st was a strange 1972 model w/ bigsby, LP type raised pickguard, and semi circle top mounted controls. 2nd was a 70s white SG that I spraypainted, added a Kahler & DiMarzios. Played that one until the head stock snapped off (didn't realize that it could be fixed, junked it). About 20 years ago I briefly had an Epi Tony Iommi SG that I couldn't bond with (you can't go home again). SGs and LPs are so damn iconic and cool, but I'm not a fan of their feel. -
Controversial artist. He Wrote some classics, but had some cringe racist tunes, and did that bizarre album with Pantera.

Jason toured w/ Nirvana on guitar, and w/ Soundgarden on bass (he didn't record w/ either, even though his picture is on Nirvana's Bleach). He played guitar on Mind Funk's 2nd album Dropped, which is a great grungy 90s album. Shortly after That album & tour he started his military career. I think he eventually went to school and got a masters in philosophy. Interesting dude, there a short doc somewhere on YT

Greg Koch plays loud unapologetically
Brooks replied to Saul Goodman's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Greg's shows are not too loud. They are awesome. PS- he makes that 335 look like a 339 -
Ahh crap. Early Manowar was one of my faves in high school. Ridiculous image and lyrics, but in retrospect a lot of metal is pretty cringe. Eric Adams was one of the best singers in the genre. RIP PS- Manowar was such a bass guitar driven band, very loud in the mix and lots of 8 string too (and some bizarre lyrical content on this tune!); https://youtu.be/Il0HMOoCilo?si=JvY_P6Ss-e048vor

Brooks replied to velorush's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
I just put a Powertron Plus (a hotter Powertron, the Billy Gibbons sig pup) in my Ibby, had one in a Gibson Midtown awhile back, it's my fave bridge pup. -
I saw Jimmy in Raleigh in 2010. My old band Candy Pig played the Attic ~1993.

I vaguely remember DOD or someone had a pedal that you plugged your guitar and a mic into and the sound came out of your amp.
