I have an early 2000's Gretsch Spectra Sonic. The GDP reported that this guitar was made by Hamer. The guitar has two serial numbers: 2 0076 & 412651. Neither of these #'s follow the Gretsch serial number code.
Can anyone tell me more about this Made in America series of guitars? Why the dual SN's? Is the "2 0076" #76 of the series and made in 2002? How many SS's were made? Did Hamer do this type of work for other brands? Etc.
