A Schaller is designed slightly different from an OFR and needs to be mounted 1/16" closer to the neck. If you replace it with an OFR, the OFR might not intonate properly. If a Schaller Floyd base plate is 1/16th " closer to the nut than an OFR, I wonder, do I have to move the string saddles back (towards the heel of guitar)on the OFR to make up for that lost distance?
