My favorite Luthier Ted Vig (and his lovely bride) has opened Vig Guitars on Snelling a few blocks north of University!

Ted is an exceptional guy that happens to be a great Luthier too. He can do it all and do it extremely well for a very fair price too! If you are anywhere near St paul (I drive 30+ miles) stop in and say hi and bring your guitars!

I'll have to stop in and check it out. I've been looking for an excuse to ride the Green Line to St. Paul. There's lots of good ethnic restaurants in that neighborhood too.

+1 for On's kitchen, It is AWESOME! And... Izzy's Ice cream is not far south either, make it an afternoon and bring the kids. Mine love On's and of course Izzy's!
