My drummer is thinking about getting a headset mic. Classic rock band, mostly bar gigs. He has a high tenor / low alto voice - pretty clean voice, but he can belt a little. He's using an SM 58 now with reasonable results.
I've never liked headsets 'cause you can't "work the mic", but being a drummer, i think he envisions life being a bit more free and liberating with a headset. (which i could understand
