What was the difference between the newer/older Mesa Boogie Subway blues again?

I'm sorry I forgot ... do the earlier ones tend to make a loud hissing sound? Was that it? Any other differences? What years are we talking about?

I can't speak to the Subway Blues, but my Subway Rocket Reverb is pretty noisy...

I thought there was an issue with the early ones that had two inputs rather than the bright/fat switch. IIRC the fix involves replacing one of the input jacks with the switch.

I'm not familiar enough with those to know the years...sorry.

Yes, the earlier ones do have two inputs ...i believe one is a half power input. That could come in handy!  hmmmm
