Roshark Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Is that a prototype Johnny A ? Did the seller buy that guitar from the Hollywood Guitar Center ? I think I played that guitar minus the switch behind the tone . If it is the same guitar you are getting a great instrument . I had to run away from that one in fear of my wallet . If it is the one I played it would be clearly marked on the back of the headstock as a prototype .
jaded_musician Posted April 8, 2016 Author Posted April 8, 2016 I haven't received it yet, but it doesn't say prototype on the back. It was originally purchased from Wildwood Guitars, I believe it was made in 2007.

jaded_musician Posted April 8, 2016 Author Posted April 8, 2016 It cost me the Newport, a G&L Asat and a bit of cash. I'll get another Asat down the road.
jaded_musician Posted May 3, 2016 Author Posted May 3, 2016 I'm really enjoying the Johnny A. Sounds really nice and plays great.
