joining Warmoth bodies & necks

I've done 2 Warmoth projects where i bought the body and neck at the same time.  The neck to body fit in both cases was so perfect.  Easily tight enough to assemble the neck and body and pick it up without the neck budging in the pocket. Is that a fit that makes it possible to make it a glued in neck? or does the neck need to go deeper into the body?  with the tight fit of the neck into the neck pocket, is there an advantage to glueing the neck in vs joining the neck & body using the neckplate & screws?  Cheers!

that debate is as old as  a 50's Les Paul and a strat.

subjection may vary.

If the joining is solid (as you stated),

Mating surfaces are decked flat,

( I use a long razor blade to scrape off finish, etc. to plain it flat, decked, on both neck heal, body heal areas)

Body holes for fasteners are not binding, (remove threading in body so screws pass thru, snugly)

and your using some decent fasteners (machined steel [Fender].),

I really do not think you will hear any discerning sonic quality between the two choices.
