Switch went out on mine. Put an external float switch on it, but the poor little guy is struggling to keep up. The thing is at least 20 years old, so it might be time for a new one. Won't be sure until I pull it, but if I do need a new one, any recommendations before I just go to the big box store and get something I'll later regret?
I used to get Zoeller, but it looks like they are out of business?
Looking at a relatively dry basement. A 1/3 to 1/2 HP would likely be plenty, which means I'll likely go Tim Allen and get a 3/4 HP. Submerged are quieter, and this is in the basement (under my bedroom, actually) so quiet is good. Not sure what else to add.
