What do you guys think of LTD Guitars?

I picked up an EC400AT, and used it on gigs a bit. Very nice frets (big), Seymour Duncans, etc.

Totally decent utility guitar, and I loved the gold top. ;) A good bang for the buck. I'd probably stray away from the lower end stuff.

I recently picked up a bottom end 213 strat clone. The guitar is a solid one piece ash body (it's really nice) with maple neck (with flame) and board with jumbo frets. For just under 3 bills, it blows my mind. The stock tuners are ok, and the bridge (sung-il) and pickups (alnico LS-120's) are nicer than a MIM strat IMHO. You can go pretty hard on the trem and it holds tuning incredibly well. This is made in Vietnam    .

I did swap the pickups for a set of Duncans and it sounds just as good as my Fender USA Deluxe with the same wood combo (two piece body BTW).  The LTD feels faster with the matte U shaped neck and jumbos which would really just come down to preference. For a little over $400 (guitar/pickups/pots) invested and a half hour with an iron and screwdriver I'm quite pleased.
