JGale Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 I'm talking about a typical two loop pedal that switches A/B to one of two Send/Return loops. No electronics, just stomp switch and wiring. Would this be better served if both outgoing sends, not the pedal out, just the sends on the individual loops had a buffer fronting them. Signal In->Send/Return->Signal Out versus Signal In->Buffer->Send/Return->Signal Out
tomteriffic Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Just my half-assed educated opinion, YMMV, closed course, not tested on humans... If the pedals in each loop lack a buffer, certainly. Even if there is one in there, it can't hurt. It wouldn't be surprising to see several buffers in an effects chain as many modern pedals have it built into their output circuitry.
JGale Posted April 13, 2021 Author Posted April 13, 2021 Good point. I'll make them switchable (if possible).
