Amazing way to get your acoustic guitar to sound right live. Has Velcro on bottom. SOLD!!! --------------------------- From their Website: Tone Dexter, from Audio Sprockets, is an amazing new pro preamp for acoustic guitar, violin, upright bass, mandolin and more, that restores the missing body sound to an instrument’s piezo pickup. ToneDexter stores WaveMaps® of your studio mic sound that you can recall when using just your pickup. The WaveMaps transform the pickup signal so that it sounds like a mic—lush, resonant, and natural. You can store WaveMaps of different mic positions and different mics, for each of your instruments. Play for just a minute with both a mic and your pickup plugged in while ToneDexter trains and learns what to do. Then, put away the mic and smile as you play through a pickup that really does sound just like a mic. ToneDexter Live Use: One of the first professionals to jump on the ToneDexter bandwagon, John Jorgenson says: “I’m currently using my ToneDexter with 6 & 12-string flat top guitars, mandolin, bouzouki and gypsy jazz guitars—pretty much anytime I have to play an acoustic instrument onstage!! I put a volume pedal in front of the input, and reverb and chorus pedals in the FX loop. As I’ve said before, instead of struggling with tone and volume, the ToneDexter makes it fun to play acoustic instruments onstage.
