Peter Studio Custom Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 Not sure of the exact year but I think right around 2000. Has the 4 bolt neck that was a change from the 90s guitars. I custom ordered this guitar and have been the only owner. I did not get a case when I bought this guitar (to poor at the time) and it has never left my home. I will include a generic strat hard case. This guitar was ordered with the swamp ash body with transparent red finish. Truly great looking color and body grain. Neck has their standard 60’s style neck contour. I would say it’s like a 60’s strat neck not like the newer thin necks. Stock pickups and electronics, nothing touched. G&L’s tone circuit is pretty unique. Only mark on the guitar is a slight indent when I leaned the neck against a hard edge amp. excellent condition I just don’t play it enough $799to HFC members plus estimated $70
HamerCustomEr Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Very nice guitar, especially for the money, as long as you get along with the 1-5/8" neck (if that is what you have). Yes, you could order any neck profile you wanted back in the year 2000, but the most common profile wsa the #1 neck with the 1-5/8" nut, now referred to as the Classic C. G&L is very underrated, much like Hamer. I love my G&L basses!
