tomteriffic Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Jim, find the wiring diagram for a Fender Big Apple Strat. I'm not sure what your letter-coil translation is, though. The Big Apple uses the Duncan color coding and is almost perfect, excepting one oops regarding the green and white wires on the bridge pickup which, IIRC are marked as red and white. It's figure-outable by process of elimination. What you get is (front to back), neck humbucker, neck outside coil, both humbuckers, inside coils both pickups, bridge humbucker.
JGale Posted February 18, 2022 Author Posted February 18, 2022 Ahhh I see where I screwed up. The ABs in the above chart are unrelated to the combinations I listed. Apples and Orangutans. Yup. That combo will work well for me. I was looking for HB bridge and SC neck but that combo doesn't sound as good on a dual HB guitar as it does on an HSS strat. Thank you Thomas. Best to WD.🐾
