Amazing amplifier with a huge tone. This is the higher power “S” version that can run 6L6, 6V6 or EL34 tubes. It has the bigger transformer that can handle those. Convenient Bias adjust control on the back. Running two TAD 6L6 tubes right now for about 30 watts. Has beautiful Tremolo and Tube Spring Reverb with foot-switch. Finger jointed pine cabinet. Excellent condition with just a few light marks from normal use. No tears or anything bad at all – see pics. Comes with its Eminence Legend 12” GB128 speaker, great to have the bigger 12”! Also, comes with its 2-button (Reverb and Tremolo) foot-switch with a nice long cable. These "S" Versions are pretty hard-to-find used. And new ones are super expensive! The other, to take a stock Lil King and see how far he could push it without changing the "inefficient" Phase Inverter found in the original circuit. Tonally think louder and tighter Princeton Reverb. Still not as bright as a typical Blackface style amp in this wattage range, the theory was to create a higher powered version with more headroom and bottom end definition, but when over-driven would retain some of the classic small amp character. The amp also accepts 6V6 (approx. 20 watts) or EL34 power tubes with a simple re-bias. If you love the Princeton Reverb sound but wish it was a little louder with better bottom end definition, this may be the amp for you!
