Ok yes I figured out the problem! You bought all your cables with uncircumcised ends. It's much harder to connect them without modification, and they always create a mess of things, get dirty faster, and just make life on stage, well...hell. Yes, you are correct! It is there fault!

Um....No. https://www.markertek.com/product/rdl-ru-ada8d/radio-design-labs-ru-ada8d-8-channel-stereo-audio-distribution-amplifier I don't like RDL products, but it's the cheapest stereo 2x8 audio distro I could find in a short amount of time. Also: Line level output from that Allen & Heath ZED mixer, not the headphone out. Headphone outputs are at milliwatt to watt levels and unbalanced. Line level inputs are are way lower and usually balanced: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_level It would be much better to take a balanced out from the ZED mixer and feed a stereo distribution amp to drive all those feeds.
