Yes I loved his comedy too. Yes while he didn't have a chemical engineering degree, he was quite smart. To me, he was a great comedic entertainer that I disagreed with as well as laughed with. That video is from 1992. And yes, you are correct, the situation has changed. U.S. air pollution is now far less than it was in 1992: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1225626/air-pollutant-emissions-reductions-us-by-type/ We rank 99th. by the way: https://www.iqair.com/us/world-most-polluted-countries And then there's plastic waste in the oceans: https://www.visualcapitalist.com/cp/visualized-ocean-plastic-waste-pollution-by-country/ So, yes the situation has changed, and, for the better in the USA. It has sadly gotten worse in many others. I hope everyone enjoys the George Carlin video, and, I hope you enjoy this one below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWUXzGGcShM -

So here we have a girl who I'm sure we would All like to strangle...over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. -
I think that sometimes, a companies product support, repair, and general ease of website navigation is more important to me than the product. Too many companies now import from overseas and never QC check the product before shipping it out to the stores. There is a company called Audio Precision, or AP for short. They make most of the test gear used by the leading audio manufacturers. This company goes well beyond customer support and their equipment is ultra reliable from the start. I just wish there were more companies like this.

Weigh several samples of them. The really heavy ones are mostly made of lead and therefore made in China. See that was easy. 🤣 -

If it's a Real 1862 Strat, the headstock label would be engraved with gold paint and it would say C.F. Martin, with WagonCaster below that, because C.F. Martin was the first company to build electric guitars. The WagonCaster name was chosen for the current transportation technology. Covered wagons helped "cast" settlers across the country. Unfortunately, guitar amplifiers did not exist yet, so the electric WagonCaster guitar did not sell well and eventually, Martin Guitars sold the rights to a young man named Leo Fender around 1947. Fender kept it a secret for many years, and, using the basic idea to create the Broadcaster in Spring of 1948, and then introduced the WagonCaster when the jet age began, renaming it, the Stratocaster. So there you have it! -
Almost every day I look at gear that I lust after. And luckily for me, I have restraint. But I know that if I bought everything I clicked on my computer keyboard that I would say "why did I just buy that...I don't need that really." Like a Neve 5088 console with automated faders and 32 inputs. 🤔🤔🤔

what amps do you think are "under the radar" bargains?
HSB0531 replied to Jimbilly's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
I used both in a stereo rig and The DR2a was very good for reverb, but the PCM70 in stereo mode was amazing. I really wish I held onto that one. -

I did the same back in the mid 80's with ART DR2 and a Lexicon PCM70. Spend a weekend trying all the presets on each one. -
That must be quite an interesting tone machine.
