  1. I've watched a bunch of YouTube videos from these cruises, take a look at a few and see what you think.
  2. - On the Vectors I currently have three and had another in the past and I think they are all pretty similar (all high quality and awesome!) The later ones seem to have slightly larger necks and cleaner wood. My '97 is clean but I have seen a few on Reverb that have some type of heavy mineral staining or something in the grain. It looks ok when it is evenly dispersed, not so much when the body is two pieces and one half is covered and the other is clean. I do like that the '97 tailpieces line up flat against the pickguard like the original '58, but I prefer the later one's neck profile even if only slightly thicker and I like the fancier headstock inlay on the later ones. I do think the Ltd Ed ones might pull a few extra dollars but my later one has less wear so I just priced them the same. I heard the Reserve on that auction above was waaay over my price, I'd be a buyer if I found one for that shown bid price. If I was shipping they both would have already sold several times as I have had a lot of interest but apparently no one in FL is looking for a V. I'm going to suspend the sale of the '97 and send it off for a check up, fret dress (nothing big but has some wear in the cowboy chord area), and put the pup covers back on before putting it up on Reverb and under cutting the $7-10k ads that are there now. Hopefully with a wider audience it will sell locally and from filtering the actual Reverb sales I should be able to sell it and get a higher price even after the fees. I was hoping to avoid a 1099 but what can you do? It has been interesting (amazing really) some of the reactions I received on the pup covers being off. I never considered it a big deal as it can be reversed in roughly 20 mins without any trace but it seems to be a real concern for a lot of people, (maybe it is just the TGP crowd?).
  3. Will do! The bridge is $3,000 and comes in a case with a guitar!
  4. For Sale in the Central Florida - Orlando area. (Shipping available on the Robin) Message for additional details and photos. 2008 Hamer USA Korina Vector – beautiful, original, VG/Excellent. - $4,200 1997 Hamer USA Korina Vector – #23 of 72, beautiful, original (pkup covers are in case) COA, VG/Excellent. - $4,200 2011 Gibson Custom Shop 1 of 1 Elegant (Abalone inlays) Flying V Std Iguanaburst, Minty Cond, all case candy - $4,200 2007 Gibson Reverse Flying V - Excellent Minty Cond, all case candy - $1,500 2001 Gibson Explorer – has BB1/BB2 installed and the original pkups/pkguard included, VG - $1,600 1984 Charvel Super Strat – Real 4-digit Charvel/Jackson that I bought new back in the day. Not long after I took a traveling job and it sat in the closet 95% of the last 40 years. When I bought it the store (Akron Music) had replaced the original trem bridge with a Kahler (it was the mid ‘80’s after all) so the original 6 screw trem, screws, springs, arm, and claw are all still brand new wrapped up in the case pocket. Original case and sales receipt included. Excellent Cond - $3,400 2009 Robin USA Tonemonger (S-type) - one of the last, signed by Dave on the headstock, VG - SOLD
  5. Great deal on a Robin USA Tonemonger - Rio Grande Dual Calibrated pickups, beautiful flame maple neck with a nice chunky C shape, signed by Dave (RIP) on the back of the headstock, frets are excellent, very good overall condition, with just the two dings as shown in the photos (one thru the finish the other just an indent, both were there when I got it). The original case is clean but it does have a damaged area on the back that does not affect its assigned task of protecting the guitar. I'm the second owner and the original receipt from Robin is also included ($1,827). Can ship at buyer’s expense but prefer to do in-person sale if possible, can do a facetime video call to inspect item and verify operation then meet at local Police station to exchange (most have a monitored area for this now). Central Florida/Orlando area.
  6. Not sure how to PM you but I'm interested in the Light Green and Korina Standards when you get to figuring out prices.

  7. My Fakimba Fleetwood is going up for sale today or tomorrow... PM sent - you should sell the Rawhide too
  8. The build...http://www.ntlguitar.com/gary-moore-conv.html Genesee - even the beer was aged!
  9. Well the first step is recognizing you have a problem and capturing it so early you still have 363 days to recover
  10. Looks like lots of good stuff traded hands in 2013! If I had come across a Rawhide Supreme and/or a Fakimba V I would have had one or two more in 2013! Bloozguy and Shark if those ever become sale or trade fodder let me know (and Shark I think we are CFL neighbors so it would be an easy swap )
  11. Huber huh? I don't think I can afford getting hooked on another must have boutique guitar company. Let me know if they go out of business, I only seem to discover special guitars after the lights have been turned off Good thing I live a long way from BCRGreg's shop, from the pics he has posted here and on the RL forum I think he has started many addictions and I'm a sucker for a pretty neck joint.
