Is this listing a Hamer-built Californian? Did Hamer ever offer maple topped mahogany bodied Californians? The only maple Californians that I have seen have solid bookmatched maple bodies. Did Hamer make any single bridge pickup versions of the 1977-1980 Special guitars? Would that still be a "Jr" or does it need to be a single coil to complement the stripped down ethos of the guitar? Were there any single pickup versions of the 1993 era P90 Specials before the BCR runs?
