I'll throw one more fantasy out there which is fairly similar to some others mentioned: Studio custom with a sustain bridge and boomers. Maybe an ebony fingerboard too.

If you want to get into the viking thing you need to get HAMMERHEART by BATHORY. Quorthon (RIP) was the real deal. Invented Black Metal and Viking Metal in the 80s!

Not stock, but I am digging the PATB-2 I dropped in the bridge of My Cali Elite. Its very warm but with massive output and good harmonic content. I thought the OBL-450 in the neck was pretty good sounding, but a little sterile. I took it out and put in a Harmonic Design strat sized p90 that I had laying around. Sounds great and has enough output to balance correctly with the PATB-2

I think Gibson already stole from Fender with the Firebird which came out in '63. Jazzmasters go back to '58. Gibson is just rubbing it in.

Sorry if someone already pointed this out....but that's a Firebird headstock! If its an import beginners pack then I think its not really a big deal. Fender should just start putting a little sticker on all their Squier strats with a silhouette of a dude with an afro.....

Not to steal this thread.....but what is this model called? I saw another one on the Hamer cusom shop website. I love those extended fingerboards so much!!
