Just read the email. Sad news. I'm glad I had the chance to tour the factory and jam with the HFC. Also glad for my 3 Hamers, particularly my Artist Custom.

All my electrics are Hamers. 1993 Special FM 2001 Duotone Custom (F-Hole) 1996 Artist Custom (my fav) All the rest of my guitars are acoustics including Martin, Alvarez-Yairi, Dobro and others.

Ahh, guess I was a little late to the party. I just finished reading the thread and see there's already a proposed model . . . thinking . . . .

I like the Mahogany Artist with Phat Cats and unique color idea. I'd also enjoy an HFC logo but frankly am not wild about checkerboard . . . I know, heresy.

What's the neck profile like? I'm looking for something pretty slim like my 1996 Artist Custom.

I've got the same 1993 Special FM (2nd from right), same color but my neck is very thin, which I really like. Wayne

The SD Phat Cat (P90 style) that I use in the neck of my 1996 Artist Custom gives me the best guitar sound I can muster. Haven't changed my mind in 3+ years. If you are going with a P90, check out the Phat Cats. Wayne
