  1. Beautiful and unique Hamer Standard at Carter's!!! Unfortunately way too rich for me at $14.5K https://cartervintage.com/shop/hamer-standard-custom-for-namm-2007-tobacco-sunburst/38RnCTGRYSXOAOpBEwHvanVw8pN
  2. Guitars are listed for high prices for multitude of reasons - sellers want to test the water, listing price is a starting point, not really looking to sell (but are forced to list by a spouse), super rare instruments, delusional sellers, etc. Keep in mind that on platforms sellers add fees premium. Many sellers are willing to negotiate, their listings are to start the negotiation. If you want to see realistic prices - check Reverb sold listings.
  3. "Listed:10 years ago" This is very old listing, long gone. It seems $650 was around what these guitars went for 10 yrs ago.
  4. he even sanded Hamer logo on the headstock!
  5. I saw it yesterday, very nice, however too expensive for me.
  6. Very cool I never saw a head like this on a Blitz!
  7. https://reverb.com/item/96935562-hamer-studio-archtop-don-t-wanna-hear-about-it-1993 Hamer Studio Archtop. Don’t wanna hear about it. 1993 How’s that? You suffer from déjà vu and amnesia? You’re sorry? Save it. You couldn’t resist, could you? It was the early 2000s—you with your unnecessarily large diamond earring and that emo haircut, looking like John Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls. This is when you carelessly traded me for a red 1964 Res-O-Glass Airline, and in return, you ponied up the $400.00 boot. Why? Well, because a seven-nation army couldn’t hold you back. Life indeed is the sum of our choices. Where is the Airline now? Speak up. I thought so. And how’s that, Jack? “And I’m talkin’ to myself at night because I can’t forget. Back and forth through my mind, behind a cigarette.” Yes, you’re talking to yourself, alright, and meanwhile I was sitting on the rack at Sam’s Discount Guitars & Record Emporium. Sometimes wanting is better than having—a lesson you still bear to this day. OK, OK, stop sniffling. Here I am again, and so is your chance to make things whole with the universe. Besides, what did you ever see in that other guitar? Please. As for me? Do you recall the richness of my Honduras mahogany body, with sustain for days? How about these impressive Maricella Juarez wound Duncan 59, P.A.F. and JB that throw fire in the face of the unsuspecting? Remember this two-piece flamed top bound in ivory trim? Nice, right? How about my precision tuning, brought to you by Schaller? Frets? Just as you left me. Truss rod? Functions as intended. Original case? No doubt. Setup? As usual. Condition? Stunning. In closing, sometimes wanting is better than having—and sometimes not. Stop feeling like the damned looking at paradise. It’s right here. Just remember: you can’t go back and make a brand-new start, but you can start from now and make a brand-new ending. What’s the alternative? Oh, I know. “Don’t wanna hear about it. Every single one’s got a story to tell. Everyone knows about it, From the Queen of England to the Hounds of Hell.” Save it for the football game already.
  8. Judging by posted pics posted here and from searching the web hockey stick headstock seems rarer than 3x3 head. Is that the case?
  9. Someone really likes Blitzes...
  10. "Listed:5 months ago" it doesn't look like people are jumping on this one.
