Outstanding - thanks for sharing it. I hear some Tool-iness in there, and the guitar break w/eruptions reminded me of Floyd Live at Pompeii. I've forwarded it to my bandmates, who I'm sure will flip over it.

I have been coveting a Jackson for a long time (two words: Dinky Body), but I'm not comfortable with knobs and switches that are positioned forward of the bridge... and both Jackson and Charvel are big into that.

Yay, tubes! I think I am in the minority, but I have ONE sound, so I have no need for this "versatility" business. I think when you try to incorporate too many different guitar sounds into your music (which modelers are undoubtedly good at) you give up the chance of developing a signature sound for yourself and a consistent, unified sound for your band (if that's what you're after... which I am).
