  1. For practice/playing at home I have a pair of matching silverface Champs - tweaked a little with Kendrick (Weber) Champ speakers and AT-7 preamp tubes for better clean sound. They get used with some stereo effects (old Boss DC-2 Dimension C and an H&K Tube Rotosphere), and this has a really "big" sound at relatively low volume - I'm quite happy with this setup.
  2. My main guitar is probably this one:
  3. I have a big Pedaltrain Pro board loaded with about 14 pedals, which is kind of too big to lug around, so I got a PT Mini and populated it with stuff from the big board and it is what I almost always use. The only pedal I really can't get on the small board is the Tube Rotosphere - which is a shame because it's a great effect. So I guess I could see still lugging the big board around for some uses. Here are my two boards:
  4. Here is my Warmoth 72 Thinline:
  5. It's expensive, but I understand a lot of Nashville session guys are using the Wampler Ego Compressor. I've also heard good things about CMATMOD's compressor models (lower price points too, but I don't think they have a blend control like the Ego). There are sound clips and/or vids on their websites (wamplerpedals.com and cmatmods.com). I don't have, and haven't played, any of these, but I do own one pedal each from these companies, and the ones I have are very good quality (Wampler Leviathan fuzz, and CMATMODS Deeelay). I don't know if this helps, but they might be worth checking into.
