Superficial Clear Coat Scratches

Question

Greetings All!

I have a fairly new Reverb purchase that came to me with some superficial scratches. Some ding-ding previous owner must have been wearing a bracelet. These are very hard to photograph, but easy to see in person. Is there any simple magic I can perform to make these go away?

Thanks for your advice, and hope to see you in Chicago this October!

I have used automotive 'fine hand polish' to minimize stuff like that, Griots garage is my usual source, but wait for others suggestion before going with mine.

I'v had good luck with the Eternashine scratch remover and polish kit: ---------------> Amazon Link for light scratches.  It's a good place to start and won't cause damage.  Worst case, it isn't aggressive enough to remove your scratches completely.

If you need to go deeper, I like micro mesh pads followed by a good automotive 3 step medium/fine/swirl remover system applied with foam pads and a hand drill. All available on Amazon or Stewart McDonald.

DO NOT use the 4-5 most coarse grit micro mesh pads.
