78 Bound and Crowned Sunburst FS

I'm offering this here before ebay. I've offered it before and talked myself out of it, but I finally got a claim paid by UPS on a 77 Sunburst they busted a few months ago and have shipped it off to Uncle Greg. The neck on that one is much more to my liking so this 78 is for sale. The guitar has all the correct parts (I took the pickup rings, case, and truss rod cover from the 77 Sunburst) exept for a replacement brass nut. The nut is well cut and professionally installed so I saw no reason to replace it. The electronics and other hardware are original. There's some minor fretwear and a few dings, but it's in remarkably good condition for the age. There is no checking on the guitar. It sounds great and plays very well. It's set up with .011s, but I'd be glad to change it to whatever you'd like. I wish the neck was bigger, but it would definately qualify as medium. I'm looking for $1500 shipped to an HFC member. Hey Chris - I put 11's on my medium-neck 79 Sunburst to approximate a thicker neck, too.

Are you thinking about taking yours to the Dallas Guitar Show this weekend?
